Job Description:

 

We are looking for Design Release Engineer with the experience level Junior, Middle, Senior in the following domain : Body / Chassis / Interior (20+ open position) interested candidates please apply will discuss and move forward.

 

Automotive Interior Product Design components/systems design/development/releasing experience ​

Experience with Tooling feasibility in Injection molded plastics/Decorative components​

Highly motivated individual with excellent communication, leadership, organizational skills, excellent relationship building skills with the ability to work in a cross functional team environment​

Knowledge of Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R), FEA, Mold Flow Virtual Validation, GD&T, and i-Speed

Knowledge of Quality Methods and tools (Green Belt — DFSS/Reactive, SBT, 3L5Y)

Knowledge of Apple CarPlay, Google Android Auto, Projection Technologies

Experience with CAN (Canoe) bus

Understanding of Bluetooth, WiFi protocols, USB

​Excellent MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)​

Strong technical knowledge of plastic design and system interfaces.​

Strong technical knowledge of mechanism and moving components interfaces.​

Demonstrated working knowledge of Powertrain / Engine / Transmission operation and components. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Some travel required to Supplier and Corporate Engine/Transmission / Vehicle Assembly Plants — including Canada & Mexico.

Green/black belt in Shainin or DFSS desirable.

CAE/Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) experiences on Powertrain structure

Hands-on involvement in the repair/modification of a vehicle, home or other technically complex project

Working knowledge of Casting and Injection Molding processes.

Knowledge of FCA Systems and/or products a plus

Valid driver’s license is required as well as a clean driving record.

Basic understanding of power electronics and devices

Understanding of electrical engineering protocols and standards
