Job Description Accounts Administrator New Zealand 2024

 

Accounts Administrator New Zealand 2024 We are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic office administrator with bookkeeping knowledge to assist across three aviation companies including the reporting to government agencies for helicopter students complete their New Zealand Diploma in Aviation (Helicopters) Level 5.

This is a great opportunity to work from home for a motivated team of aviation professionals.

The position is 40 hours per week.

 

The role requires:

Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Enthusiastic, reliable, trustworthy and the ability to stay on task while working from home.

Xero, Crystal Payroll, Google sheets and Microsoft experience would be helpful but not essential.

Home office set up.

Completing a fit & proper person declaration, required for reporting to government agencies.

 

The role includes:

  • Xero data entry – debtors and creditors while keeping Xero up to date daily.
  • Payroll.
  • Process incoming emails.
  • Reconciliations.
  • Credit Control.
  • Prepare GST for filing.
  • Prepare accounts for monthly management reports.
  • Liaise with various government agencies on a professional level.
  • Report student progress to required government agencies using various software platforms.
  • Stay up to date with all government agency requirements.
  • Assist with potential, current, and new students including reporting systems.
  • Maintain aircraft maintenance & fuel card reports.
  • Assist with company requirements for private students.
  • General administration duties.
  • Attend meetings in Milford and Dairy Flats, when required.
